Its not baking, but I thought I would share it with you all anyway! We had pork chops last night, and I thought I would have a go at making some apple sauce to go with it… and I did. And it was yummy!
2x granny smith apples (they were soft as they had been in my fruit bowl for quite some time!)
30g caster sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice (I didn’t use fresh; lemon juice in a bottle!)
Peel, core and dice the apples
Add all ingredients to a saucepan
Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally
And that’s it! This made more than enough for 2 people but, as usual, you can always adapt the recipe to make more.
